Going to California was a great time! My parents, Timmy, Sarah, the boys and I headed out for 5 days. The day of travel was crazy...we began at 5:30am taking a limo to the airport. The boys loved it! We got a little side tracked in security when Joey's Spiderman backpack caused a little stir:) They had to examine all the contents. He had packed it himself, so I had no idea what was inside....batman belt, spiderman mask, random cars, and just a hodge podge of stuff...The se..security lady was nice and was laughing as she commented on Joey's "treasures".
Before we got to Mountain View we took an airplane, bus, train and then walked to their house..Needless to say we were all thrilled to get to their place and relax. The trip was relaxing and we had a nice time just hanging out together with no agenda. We went to Santa Clara beach and boardwalk, the park, Uncle Matt's football practice, Farmers' Market, etc...The boys even brought out the song "bear down" and "super bowl shuffle" so we could play dance party. Which ended up being a blast with even Mom and dad dancing;)
It was a great time! The boys didn't want to leave and Joey asked if we can stay until Santa comes:) Thanks Meg & Matty for a great time and for being wonderful hosts...again:) Thanks Mom & Dad for the tickets and everything!
