On Saturday we helped my dad in his garden. We all went to the nursery and the boys got to pick out some veggies for the garden. They each got a tomato and pepper plant:) They loved getting the dirt ready and putting the plant in the ground. Timmy and Sarah were over and they were washing their cars, so the boys helped out! I even got my car clean...yahoo! it was pretty surreal watching my sons wash my very first car...that Grand Am sure has spunk! She has a lot of miles on her and still looks great! After the cleaning we had a BBQ and relaxed.
On Monday, Timmy invited us down to Lincoln Park for a BBQ at his house. Uncle Larry was in town and we joined us too. We set up camp right in the front of his house and had a great time. Lately, the boys are really into wearing costumes. I have a huge box of costumes that Santa bought after Halloween that has become one of the best toys in the house. I highly recommend this gift idea! The just HAD to be Mr. INcredible and Optimus Prime Transfomer at Uncle Timmy's. They wore them the entire time! It just cracks me up.
All in all it was a fun weekend with lots of good food, family and friends!
